FEATURE MOVIE FOR April 4th @ 7:00 p.m.
Michael Spurlock decides to trade in his corporate sales career to become a pastor. Unfortunately, his first assignment is to close a country church and sell the prime piece of land where it sits. He soon has a change of heart when the church starts to welcome refugees from Burma. Spurlock now finds himself working with the refugees to turn the land into a working farm to pay the church's bills.
The film was shot on location at the real All Saints' Church in Smyrna, Tenn., and many members of the church play themselves on-screen. John Corbett brings his folksy charm to the role of the Rev. Michael Spurlock, who is tasked with putting a dying church out of its misery, its mortgage astronomical and membership dwindling. It's all set to become a big box store, but with a vision from God and a few dozen Burmese immigrants, Michael reverses course, reviving the institution from a certain termination.
